“We are almost there 21 students. Japan is 20 hours away!” Mrs. Drago said with a deep sarcastic voice.
“Why is it always that we get delayed on the cool trips? It just surprises me that I’m stuck with all the bull junk in the program!” Missy said with anger. All the students are sitting around in the DIA waiting for their plane to arrive in the loading zone. Her and the rest of her friends were listening to their iPods and chilling.
“Flight 391-A9032 to Tokyo, Japan is now boarding” the 21st team heard over the loud crowd of people passing by.
“Let’s go team! We are leaving now!” Mrs.Drago said with enthusiasm.
“She needs to calm it down. It’s cool, but don’t have a heart attack over a trip!” she laughed comedicacally! Looking around the building, she didn’t see her friends. They were just a few steps away but she still wanted some attention so she ran to catch up with them.
As they were boarding the plane, the students were preparing themselves for disappointment. The people they were sitting by were usually loud and obnoxious, emo and tearful, tough and smelly, or even quiet and bashful. But this time, the students got to sit where they wanted, and had to sit there the whole time there and back. The seats were really close, so this was a little uncomfortable. “Well I guess I’m sitting alone…..again.” James said wit h a depressed voice.
“Why are you always emo?” Kelsea asked James.
“Why would you care Kelsea?! Go sit with Lucky, or use someone. Leave me alone” he replied. Little did they know that he was using the prescription his mother had asked the doctor for to manage his anger.
“I am going to love this trip! This is the first time I ever been out of the city! I’m so excited!” one of the students mentioned countless times. The student’s movements made Braxton motion sick.
“Why did I have to sit with the crazy person” thought out loud. “It’s always me because I’m black. Out of all of my friends, I’m the only one that isn’t satisfied.”
After 13 and a half hours of turbulence, flirting with cuties, and having fun the 21st team arrived in Tokyo. The student took it in different ways though. Some yelled in excitement, others kissed, and others just contained their full extended amount of joy.
“This is 10 times better than Texas. Look at them fancy lights there yall!” Ms.Lechinger yelled.
“I knew that I would get the break I wished for! Thank you God! Now Im going to call my momma and tell her the happiness I have” Radzak’s yelled in his laughing voice. We all were glad to be in this cultural, electronic, fashionable, and well organized country. This meant that all the fantasies would be fulfilled in that week we were engaged with the beauty of Japan.
On the last night team 21 was in Japan, Radzak, some other teachers and a couple of students went out and enjoyed their “field trip”. Radzak took Mrs. Xu to a local bar and they had a great time.
“I think we should go now Xu. I’m tired and want to go home” Radzak said not realizing that she was talking to someone else. Radzak being a cave man got offended. He took her by the hand, and headed towards the door. 3 Japanese men stud in front of the door and pushed him off of Mrs. Xu. He was upset enough so he punched the tall Asian man in his dome piece. That developed into a scrap. 5 minutes later, they were both bruised and tired. When they returned commotion was filling the rooms. They realized that most of the adventures happen when any say it should; at night. Radzak learned his lesson, and many had the time of their lives laughing at him.
